In portuguese (my mother language) we usually say: “Casa de ferreiro, espeto de pau”, meaning “house of smith skewer stick”, or more common in english: “The shoemaker’s son always goes barefoot”. Unfortunately it is true! You don’t see as many photos of my daughter here as I would like so! But around her birthday I always try to give her a session to highlight this special occasion! My baby, my first model ever, the reason I bough my first DSLR is already 7. This is her “celebration session” and the lady with her is my mom!
This session was without any questions, a lucky one! In the charming Old Montreal, beautiful parents-to-be, two outfits and two different weather conditions! Who would know that maternity photos on the rain would turnout that great?:-)
Let me see… Maybe I would! ;-)))
And by the way, why am I saying “Baby surprise”? Because they decided not to know if it’s a boy or a girl! How cool is that? Not very common nowadays!
I had the pleasure to photograph this beautiful family in a Park in Laval! Gorgeous little girls, beautiful location and you can feel the love in the air!!!
I am proud to say this is one of my “milestone” sessions as I introduce a new edition style that really got my heart! Hope you like it as well!
On my over five years photographing newborns it’s my first time with such a big baby: over 10 pounds at birth! He is as gorgeous as his big brother and I already know these boys are going to give trouble to they mother in the future!!! 🙂
You might remember this beautiful family form their expecting shooting, if not check it here!
Enjoy the photos!
